Cynthia Faccenda (Milewski)

Cynthia Faccenda Milewski, age 60 of the Black Rock section of Bridgeport, died suddenly while traveling in New Hampshire Tuesday, October 21, 2008 with her beloved husband of 14 years, Robert W. Milewski. Born in Bridgeport, February 11, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Angel DelVecchio Faccenda. Mrs. Milewski worked as a commercial lending representative at People's United Bank, just celebrating 25 years of service. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister and nana. Cynthia enjoyed baking for the holidays as well as any family gatherings. She was a diehard UConn Men's Basketball and Boston Red Sox fan. Cynthia greatly enjoyed her many travels with her late husband, Bob. However, her greatest joy was spending time with her grandson, Nino. Survivors include her loving and devoted son, Stephen A. Balaszi and his wife, Kristin of Black Rock; two stepchildren, Daniel Milewski and his wife, Alisa of New Hampshire and Michele Board and her husband, Edward of Oxford; a brother, Leonard Faccenda Sr. and his wife, Josephine of Stratford; a sister, Dorothy Falco and her husband, Joseph of Easton; her adored and cherished grandson, Nino Alexander Balaszi; and stepgrandchildren, Alana and Emily Mi-lewski; as well as several special nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Faccenda and her former husband, Stephen D. Balaszi. Funeral services will take place Monday, October 27, 2008 at 9 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10 a.m. in St. Ann Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial.
